Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources, tailoring your approach to each individual.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals and interventions to guide clients on their healing journeys.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
• Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, helping clients gain valuable insights and skills in a collaborative environment.
• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as needed.
• Maintain accurate, clear, and timely documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have at least two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting. Practical experience in group therapy and crisis intervention is particularly valuable, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the needs of our client population.

Inner Zenith Wellness offers competitive compensation, with salaries ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
