Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to gather relevant information about clients’ mental health and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions that promote client well-being and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that the integrity of client information is protected at all times.
• Actively engage in multidisciplinary case consultations and peer review sessions to continuously improve treatment strategies and outcomes, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with the knowledge they need to navigate their journey toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By providing individualized care and fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance, you will help clients build coping skills and find hope in their recovery journeys. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting mental health awareness and resilience within the community.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Washington State.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, demonstrating your knowledge and ability to handle complex cases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effortlessly establish therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering trust and openness.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and individualized treatment planning to maximize client outcomes.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic approaches, enabling flexible responses to clients' varying needs and presenting issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational workshops or support groups to enhance community engagement in mental health awareness.
