Key Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential and ethical individual mental health counseling sessions via video conferencing, ensuring a compassionate and professional environment.
• Employ solution-focused therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each client, facilitating effective treatment outcomes.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans, including clear milestones, to guide clients toward achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Assist clients in gaining insights into their emotional experiences, relationships, and behaviors, promoting self-awareness and personal growth.
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting therapeutic interventions as needed to foster healthy coping mechanisms.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and client records in compliance with organizational policies while minimizing administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Inner Insight, you will primarily work with stable, low acuity adults presenting with a diverse range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and adjustment issues. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping clients enhance their quality of life and work towards their personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold one of the following fully independent practice licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients.
• Strong proficiency in technology and computer skills, essential for managing virtual therapy sessions and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in a community health or clinic setting.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
