Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized mental health counseling through video chat, establishing a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Implement solution-focused interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Create and maintain comprehensive treatment plans, documenting client progress and adjusting approaches as necessary.
• Assist clients in gaining insight into their emotions, behaviors, and relationships, helping them build understanding and awareness.
• Support clients in developing coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health therapist at Inner Insight Therapy, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who seek assistance for a range of mental health concerns. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present with various needs, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. Your expertise will empower them to cultivate skills that enhance their quality of life, ultimately guiding them towards healthier, fulfilling lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Fully licensed as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Must have no provisional or limited licenses, nor any disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to therapy.
• Proficient in utilizing technology, with strong computer literacy skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in the mental health field is required, candidates with additional experience in telehealth counseling, treatment planning, and diverse client interactions are highly desirable. A history of successfully implementing various therapeutic modalities is a plus.
