Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, employing standard clinical tools to formulate accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and psychodynamic approaches to address clients' unique circumstances.
• Deliver crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, ensuring safety and immediate support during emergencies.
• Maintain meticulous client records, encompassing treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, while adhering to strict ethical standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate holistic care initiatives.
• Engage clients and families in educational sessions about mental health topics, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Inner Calm Counseling Center will serve a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting is required.

Preferred Experience
