Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, establish accurate clinical diagnoses, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's unique goals and challenges.
• Provide crisis intervention support for clients in acute distress, helping them navigate immediate mental health emergencies effectively.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic treatment approaches and continuity of care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, guiding them through available treatment options and community resources.
• Continuously update your knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities, ensuring you remain informed on the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include individuals of various ages, couples, families, and groups. Inner Calm Counseling Center serves a diverse community in Lakewood, New Jersey, offering culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges individual backgrounds and experiences. You will play a critical role in empowering clients as they navigate their personal challenges.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mental Health Therapist with credentials such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to create effective treatment plans.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.
• Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in your practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methodologies is advantageous.
• Clinical experience with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or individuals facing trauma may enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your valuable contributions, we offer a competitive salary in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
