Position Overview

Infinity Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time clinician focused on providing support to patients in our Detox Center. This role is fully remote, allowing you to make a significant impact from the comfort of your own home while working with clients who are dealing with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

Work Environment

Working remotely from your home in Fort Worth, Texas, you will be part of a dynamic and inclusive team that collaborates to create tailored treatment plans for a diverse patient population. This role will leverage tele-therapy methodologies and various digital platforms to directly engage with clients and their families, ensuring active and supportive therapeutic relationships while maintaining safety and security measures in a non-traditional workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients, assessing their mental health status and developing comprehensive care plans that address individual needs.
• Participate actively as a team player in case discussions and treatment planning, contributing insights to drive collaborative goals.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client conditions and determine the necessity for further assessments.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing de-escalation techniques and supporting clients in navigating acute episodes.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, consisting of individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring all client interactions are documented comprehensively and timely.
• Coordinate care with other service providers and health care professionals to create a seamless network of support for clients.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness, adjusting approaches to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on individuals who struggle with substance use and mental health challenges, particularly those seeking detoxification support. You will work with a diverse group of clients from various backgrounds, affirming the organization's commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity. Your ability to build rapport will be essential, as many clients may be experiencing their first interactions with mental health services.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, accompanied by at least two years of relevant experience in a social work capacity. Candidates must possess a current and valid LCSW license to practice in Texas. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a genuine passion for helping underserved populations, are critical for this role.

Preferred Experience

Although not mandatory, candidates with experience in detox settings, crisis management, or working with co-occurring disorders are preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a background in integrated behavioral health approaches will enhance your ability to thrive in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually.
