About the Role
Client, a premier law firm located in Brandon, FL, is seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Paralegal to join our dedicated legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting attorneys through all stages of family law litigation—from case inception to trial—while providing compassionate and professional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare pleadings, petitions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
Maintain communication and build rapport with clients, court staff, and attorneys
Organize, maintain, and manage case files
Prepare exhibits, trial notebooks, and related materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Track case deadlines and assist attorneys in managing litigation workflow
Coordinate with legal staff to ensure cases progress efficiently
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in family law litigation
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Adobe Acrobat Pro
Family Law Software, Inc. (for financial affidavits)
E-filing systems and legal billing software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional demeanor and client-focused approach
Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
