Lead Quality Operations in a Precision Electronics Manufacturing EnvironmentOur client, a leading player in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a results-driven Quality Supervisor to lead and advance their quality assurance function. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, UL certifications, and customer-specific quality requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001, UL, and client-specific requirements.
Lead UL certification processes (e.g., UL 94, UL 508A) for components and final products.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement.
Supervise inspection processes for printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal parts.
Manage quality documentation: work instructions, control plans, compliance records, and audit logs.
Conduct root cause analyses and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Track and analyze key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, yields, returns) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Required QualificationsBachelorโs degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in electronics manufacturing, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and UL certifications (UL 94, UL 508A).
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600) and RoHS compliance.
Experience inspecting precision sheet metal and interpreting technical drawings.
Proficiency in root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred QualificationsCertified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar professional certifications
Experience with ERP and QMS software systems
Background in high-reliability or mission-critical electronics environments
