    Job description

    Valle Verde in Santa Barbara, CA, recently named "Best Continuing Care Retirement Community in the U.S. 2025" by Newsweek magazine is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for its Health Center (Skilled Nursing) department.

     Pay Range: $55 - $62/hr. depending on experience + stackable shift differentials listed below:

    • Evenings: +$2/hr
    • Nights (NOC): +$10/hr
    • Weekends: +$3/hr

      Our Registered Nurses are responsible for the total nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating HumanGood’s “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” Ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident’s daily life rhythm. Develops assignments in coordination with the care partners and keeps each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.

      To be successful in the role, you would have:

      • Current RN in the state for which applying
      • Current CPR certification
      • Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
