Position Overview

Safe Horizon Recovery Facility is actively seeking a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, qualified as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). In this full-time remote role, you will engage with clients managing substance use issues alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, adapting your approach to each client's needs.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate client progress and revise treatment plans as necessary.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that target specific goals and challenges, ensuring thorough follow-up and adaptation to evolving client needs.
• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insight and recommendations to enhance client treatment outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions accurately and maintain compliance with state regulations regarding client confidentiality and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This may include clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or family dynamics that contribute to their conditions. Providing compassionate care, you will support clients in navigating the complexities of their lived experiences and foster their ability to achieve stability and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Possession of a current, valid license that is in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science, specifically as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and professional development in the mental health field.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of direct experience in a clinical counseling role, preferably working with substance use and dual-diagnosis clients.
• Experience in a telehealth environment is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with related technologies and digital client engagement.
• Strong understanding of culturally competent care, particularly regarding marginalized populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
