Assistant Manager- Draper

Holiday Oil is a premier convenience store in Utah. This family-owned business has been around for 60 years with over 77 stores and is continuing to grow.
Position overview:
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and assist in managing staff and inventory. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, professionally resolving issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.

Skills & Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Retail experience desired
  • Training experience preferred
  • Must be able to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday schedule
  • Previous experience in customer service preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage skills and work with the team to accomplish tasks.
  • Customer and Employee-focused
  • Ability to learn about and train products available in stores
  • Ability to maintain composure in the face of angry, frustrated, or flustered customers.
  • Ability to adjust schedule, task, and priorities as needed to assist with business needs
  • Must have a safe driving record
  • Must be willing to submit to MVR monitoring and possess a valid Utah Driver's License
