Overview

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Infrastructure Analyst to provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) services in support of the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH) Project Office (PO). This position focuses on identifying, planning, and recommending solutions for facilities and infrastructure to enable effective training, maintenance, and storage operations for Apache systems while minimizing cost and Time of Completion (TOC).

The Facilities and Infrastructure Analyst supports the United States Army (USA) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities, ensuring facilities align with operational readiness requirements across multiple lifecycle phases for Apache systems and subsystems. This role ensures that detailed planning and execution of facility and infrastructure development meet mission-critical needs, environmental considerations, and security compliance.

This position is well-suited to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and take pride in actively contributing to Apache attack helicopter operational success.

Responsibilities

Facilities and Infrastructure Planning:

    Identify, plan, and recommend solutions for facilities and infrastructure to support training, maintenance, and storage operations for Apache systems.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness by aligning recommendations to program goals and lifecycle management objectives.

Property and Improvement Analyses:

  • Perform analyses and provide input regarding permanent and semi-permanent real property assets, infrastructure types, space requirements, equipment needs, environmental considerations, and security compliance.
  • Conduct studies and deliver recommendations to maximize capabilities while reducing costs.

Storage and Supply Infrastructure:

  • Recommend solutions for equipment and supply storage infrastructure to optimize fielding and sustainment requirements.
  • Provide input on facility enhancements that align with Apache program logistics strategies.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including stakeholders, government representatives, and contractors, to ensure infrastructure solutions align with mission-critical program objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise to influence infrastructure planning and improvements effectively.

Environmental and Security Considerations:

  • Ensure facilities comply with environmental regulations and security requirements for logistics systems in accordance with Army standards.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of professional relevant experience, with at least 2+ years working with automation, or intelligent systems.
  • Experience in facilities and infrastructure planning, particularly for military or defense logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of real property asset management and infrastructure development best practices, encompassing planning for permanent and semi-permanent assets.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance and security requirements associated with logistics systems and facilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to define facility types, space needs, and equipment requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration capabilities to engage effectively with stakeholders, government teams, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background working with Apache weapon systems and associated lifecycle sustainment.
  • Understanding of cost-effective solutions for infrastructure upgrades and improvements tailored to defense logistics goals.
  • Familiarity with Army logistical tools and systems, including Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and related facility planning systems.
  • Experience in drafting studies and plans such as Materiel Fielding Plans (MFPs) and System Support Management Plans (SSMPs).

Target salary range: $85k-120k
