Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies and treatment plans based on thorough client assessments and evaluations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to groups, families, and individual clients, ensuring a comprehensive approach tailored to their unique needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, enhancing the client's therapeutic journey.
• Conduct regular progress evaluations, adjusting treatment methods as needed and utilizing feedback to improve therapeutic effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination, sharing insights and strategies for client engagement and support.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress, utilizing the organization's billing and documentation support to streamline administrative tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Licensed Professional Counselor will center around individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. You will address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, providing compassionate support and guidance to help clients navigate their challenges. A strong emphasis is placed on providing culturally competent care tailored to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, specifically in a clinical setting, is essential to ensure readiness for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred, contributing to the diverse skill set of our counseling team.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be beneficial in optimizing service delivery and client engagement.
