  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma, acquire healthy coping mechanisms, and promote overall emotional healing.
  • Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for your patients.
  • Offer crisis intervention support during acute trauma-related emergencies, showcasing your ability to act decisively in high-stress situations.
  • Educate patients and their family members on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to actively engage in their healing process.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of patient care.
  • Participate in professional development activities, staying current with research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance your practice and benefit patients.

Your work will focus primarily on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You'll play a crucial role in assisting these patients on their healing journey, allowing them to reclaim their lives and foster resilience to cope with the aftermath of their experiences.
