Business Development Representative (BDR) — Plumber Referral Channel

Company: Dry Force

Location: DFW, TX

Role Summary

Looking to grow your income and build real relationships in a fast-moving industry?

Dry Force is hiring a Business Development Representative to expand our network of plumbing partners who refer restoration jobs. This is a relationship-driven, outside sales role with strong earning potential and long-term growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, activating, and growing partnerships with plumbing companies that serve as a key lead source for our business. You will focus on building meaningful relationships, managing partner engagement, and ensuring a smooth handoff from referral to job completion. Success in this role is driven by your ability to grow partnerships, increase referral volume and quality, improve conversion rates, and maintain strong partner satisfaction.

You’ll ramp up quickly with training, begin building your own partnerships within your first 60 days, and be fully managing your territory by 90 days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and grow relationships with plumbing companies across your assigned territory
  • Prospect, call, and visit partners to generate new referral opportunities
  • Educate partners on Dry Force’s services and how the referral process works
  • Identify strong partners based on responsiveness, service area, and business fit
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and communication to strengthen partnerships
  • Track activity, partnerships, and opportunities in CRM
  • Work closely with operations to ensure fast response times and a great customer experience
  • Keep partners informed with updates on job progress and outcomes
  • Participate in events, networking opportunities, and partner appreciation initiatives
  • Stay aware of market trends and competitor activity
Performance & Goals
  • Manage a pipeline of new and existing partners
  • Meet activity goals such as calls, meetings, and partner visits
  • Drive referral volume, conversion rates, and revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of all sales activity
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and tracking activity (experience with Luxor or similar tools is a plus)
  • Ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and adapt based on performance results
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within your territory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in home services, restoration, plumbing, or similar industries
  • Familiarity with referral-based sales, partner-driven business models, or insurance workflows (including TPA networks)
  • Experience organizing trainings, workshops, or lunch-and-learns for partners
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using operational or job-tracking systems like DASH or similar tools
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary + performance-based commission (uncapped earning potential)
  • Company-paid health insurance
  • Dental and vision coverage
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Company-paid short and long-term disability
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle options (based on territory)
  • Clear opportunities for career growth and advancement
