Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs and develop personalized therapy strategies through comprehensive evaluations and tailored interventions.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with licensing regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic client care and participate in regular case reviews and strategy meetings to discuss treatment progress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain current with mental health trends and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor will serve a diverse client population across San Juan, Texas, composed of individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Our focus includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Each counselor is dedicated to fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships that empower clients on their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas is mandatory.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical counseling experience is preferred.
  • A profound understanding of ethical practices and standards in the counseling profession.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse client populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, couples' counseling, or substance use disorders will greatly enhance candidate appeal.
  • Experience working in a community health clinic setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses and sign-on incentives. Additionally, we offer flexible work schedules, allowing for a balanced approach to professional and personal commitments.
