Job description

Python Full Stack Developer
Location- Atlanta, GA & Reston, VA
Full Time
We are looking for a skilled Python Full Stack Developer with strong experience in API development, Flask, AWS, and modern frontend technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and RESTful services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python and Flask.
  • Build secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs.
  • Develop backend services, business logic, and database integrations.
  • Work with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Angular.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS.
  • Integrate third-party services and external APIs.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Prepare technical documentation for APIs, architecture, and deployment procedures.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Flask or similar Python web frameworks.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of API authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API keys.
  • Strong understanding of frontend development using:
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript or TypeScript
  • React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with AWS services, including:
  • EC2
  • S3
  • Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • RDS
  • CloudWatch
  • IAM
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployment.
  • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming using Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of automated testing using PyTest or unittest.
  • Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and cloud monitoring.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
