Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and objectives. This includes a thorough analysis of their mental health history, psychosocial factors, and treatment readiness.
• Create individualized treatment plans that consider multiple therapeutic modalities, ensuring a tailored approach to each client's journey toward recovery.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapies, ensuring a client-centered approach that fosters positive, measurable outcomes.
• Maintain precise and confidential records as mandated by state regulations and best practices, supporting continuity of care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate proactively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including medical professionals, psychiatrists, and peer support specialists, to provide holistic support for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with the latest research, methodologies, and ethical standards within the social work field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Heluna Behavioral Health, you will predominantly work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to implement solution-focused therapies that empower clients to identify their goals and explore pathways toward recovery. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active LCSW license issued by the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrable problem-solving abilities and emotional intelligence to manage complex client situations effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a detox or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Experience working with marginalized populations and an understanding of cultural competence.

Compensation and Benefits
