Position Overview

Healing Reflection Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time remote position. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual counseling services to a diverse clientele, accommodating various needs and preferences.
• Develop and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages open communication and engagement.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and collaboratively formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to facilitate client progress and recovery effectively.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Document sessions and client interactions utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will consist of individuals navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will engage with adult clients predominantly, offering tailored strategies that resonate with their unique situations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least two years of experience in a therapeutic setting, with a demonstrated ability to formulate individual treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills with a strong capacity for building and sustaining healthy client relationships.
• Proficiency with virtual care tools, including telehealth platforms and documentation processes, to streamline client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in remote counseling and familiarity with best practices in teletherapy.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care models is an asset.
• Background in working with diverse populations, particularly in community health settings, is favorable.
