Healing Reflection Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time telehealth capacity. You will play a vital role in providing quality mental health care to clients across the Lynchburg, Virginia area and beyond. In this position, you will work remotely, allowing for flexible scheduling while maintaining a positive work-life balance.

Work Environment

This remote position enables you to deliver therapy effectively from the comfort of your home. Our telehealth framework includes secure and user-friendly platforms to facilitate seamless communication with clients. You will be working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting an efficient work schedule that supports both personal well-being and professional fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to address their mental health needs.
• Establish and maintain a trusting and supportive environment where clients feel safe to share their thoughts and feelings.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target specific mental health challenges and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to enhance client outcomes and foster resilience.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and client progress using our telehealth software, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training to share insights, methodologies, and best practices to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will encompass a diverse array of individuals seeking help for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You can expect to work with clients from different backgrounds, which will enhance your therapeutic skills and cultural competence.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to build effective therapeutic relationships with clients in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems to ensure efficient session management and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in developing treatment plans and executing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.
• Previous experience in a remote setting to enhance adaptability to virtual practices and technologies.
• Specialty in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse recovery, or adolescent counseling is a plus.
