Hamilton Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and devoted licensed mental health therapists, specifically LCSWs, LPCs, or LMFTs, to join our remote team. Work Environment

This remote position allows for a flexible work environment while ensuring that you maintain a high level of interaction with patients. You will have the support of a collaborative team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists, all committed to providing exceptional care. Our clinic utilizes cutting-edge electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and enhance communication within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients’ unique needs and develop effective personalized treatment plans, taking into consideration their backgrounds, cultures, and support systems.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, while also adapting approaches based on each patient’s feedback and progress.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups to discuss mental health issues and promote a sense of community among participants, encouraging peer support and shared experiences.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including medication management collaboration with psychiatrists.
  • Respond to crisis situations with timely and effective interventions, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients experiencing acute challenges.
  • Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and empower them with knowledge about available resources in the community.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, managing patient records securely and efficiently within our EHR system.
  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and evidence-based practices in mental health treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will work with span a broad spectrum, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Your ability to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient will play a vital role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and developing actionable treatment plans.
  • Experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy to a culturally diverse clientele.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with patients and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries, with sound judgment in complex situations.
  • Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting and contribute to a shared mission of improving mental health.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in outpatient or community health settings is a plus.
  • Experience with specific population needs, such as trauma-informed care or culturally sensitive practices, will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
