We pride ourselves on employing evidence-based practices aimed at addressing a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. We are committed to enhancing the mental well-being of our diverse clientele and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration amongst our team.

This position is a fully remote role, allowing our therapists the flexibility to work from their home offices, while remaining engaged with a supportive team culture. You will typically work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient appointment needs. Our virtual work environment leverages state-of-the-art technology and secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain seamless communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs and construct individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
  • Implement and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster resilience and provide education on managing mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate resources.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment strategies, and available community services that can assist with their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  • Actively participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Engage with current research and best practices in the field of mental health to enhance your therapeutic approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists at Hamilton Behavioral Health Center serve a diverse patient population ranging from children to older adults, each presenting unique psychological needs. We place a strong emphasis on culturally competent care and strive to ensure that treatment is thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s background and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and devise effective treatment strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to foster strong patient relationships.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and uphold professional boundaries at all times.
  • Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
  • A commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.
Preferred Experience
