The group has nearly 50 businesses operating through four sectors (Medical, Environmental & Analysis, Process Safety, Infrastructure Safety) in more than 20 countries and major operations in Europe, North and South America and Asia, supplying customers in 160 countries and employing more than 6,600 people worldwide.**Job Summary:** Cosasco is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement a supply chain strategy that maximizes **Supervisory Responsibilities:** Performs other related duties as assigned. **Principle Responsibilities:** agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements. Negotiate Maintain awareness of world markets and emerging material or logistics related issues in the industry and position the supply chain to flexibly respond accordingly.Continually assesses risk of supply chain and identifies & implements approaches to reduce risk.**Required Skills/Abilities:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong supervisory and leadership skills Ability to function well in a high-paced environment **Education and Experience:** * College degree in business, materials management, supply chain or related field* 5+ years’ experience in purchasing and planning in an industrial manufacturing environment* 2+ years’ supervisory experience* Working knowledge of all laws and regulations relating to procurement and contracts* Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems, LEAN principles of planning and MRP/ERP systems* Knowledge of project specific execution will be an added advantage**Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:**Halma is a global group of life-saving technology companies, focused on growing a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day.
