ClifyX is a company seeking a Spark + Hive Engineer with significant experience in IT. The role focuses on leveraging Spark and Hive technologies, requiring strong programming skills and a deep understanding of Hadoop internals.
Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of IT experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Spark experience is required.
• Strong background in Scala or Java programming.
• Experience with Hadoop – deep understanding of internals of Hadoop, Hive, Oozie, MapReduce, Sqoop.
• Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs and expertise in performance tuning of SQLs / Hive queries.
• Should have strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Should be able to think out of the box, drives for excellence and is self-motivated.
• Hands-on working experience of Linux/Unix, git, maven.
• Experience of working in onsite/offshore model
• Desirable: Python programming exp
Qualifications:
