Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work hours while ensuring that you can effectively meet the needs of our clients. While you will primarily work from home, regular communication with team members and clients will be essential to maintain rapport and facilitate the delivery of services. The expected work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required based on client needs and scheduling flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social factors to inform their care.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and educational staff to develop tailored care plans that align with specific goals and preferences.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to help students navigate emotional challenges and transitions effectively.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and ensure access to essential community resources, fostering a support system conducive to their development.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff, to streamline communication and enhance student care.
  • Monitor client well-being through regular check-ins, assessing living conditions, and addressing any psychosocial concerns that may arise.
  • Educate families on available resources, support groups, and programs that promote social engagement and overall quality of life for their children.
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments, care plans, progress notes, and interactions to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
  • Stay informed on current social work practices, regulations, and ethical standards to maintain high-quality service delivery.

Your primary focus will be on supporting students in a school setting, including those from various backgrounds who may be experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Minimum of two years of directly related experience in a social work role, with a preferred background in a school or geriatric setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of social work principles, aging-related issues, community resources, and effective intervention strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse clients and professional teams.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
