Job description

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to join our Field Operations team at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Local candidates with experience on airfield or runway construction projects are preferred. In addition to this opportunity, RQ has Construction Quality Control Manager openings supporting active military construction projects at locations throughout the Eastern United States.

The CQCM is responsible for preparing, managing, and enforcing a project-specific Quality Control Plan in accordance with all contract requirements. This position ensures compliance with established quality standards, oversees documentation accuracy and timeliness, and works closely with project stakeholders to maintain strong client relationships and overall project satisfaction. All duties are performed in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $90,000 – $125,000 annually
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance

Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in commercial construction roles such as Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically serving as a Quality Control Manager
  • Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification required; familiarity with RMS/QCS systems preferred (training available)
  • Additional inspection certifications or trade licenses are highly valued
  • LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate credentials are a plus
  • Required certifications include EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 (training available if needed)
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications
  • Experience with construction management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS is preferred
