Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Resort Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will transform raw data from guest bookings, point-of-sale systems, and operational metrics into actionable business strategies. Your analysis will directly influence our pricing models, labor efficiency, operations, and overall guest satisfaction. • Operational Reporting: Evaluate labor efficiency, department payroll variances, and operational expenses against seasonal guest volume forecasts.
  • Dashboard Creation: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and data visualizations for department heads and executive leadership.
  • Guest Analytics: Synthesize feedback from post-stay satisfaction surveys, ticketing systems, and digital touchpoints to isolate areas for service improvement.
  • Data Quality: Extract, clean, and validate data across disjointed legacy platforms to ensure reporting accuracy and database integrity.

Required Technical Skills

  • SQL Mastery: Advanced ability to write complex queries, joins, and data transformations.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Direct experience developing interactive reports in platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Advanced Excel: Expert-level capability with spreadsheet modeling, nested formulas, power queries, and macro automations.
  • Hospitality Systems: Hands-on familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) or Point of Sale (POS) tools is highly preferred.
