Garden Path Counseling is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

The role of Licensed Clinical Social Worker is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work-from-home arrangements. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for clients dealing with addiction and related mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote recovery and well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, regularly reviewing and updating these plans based on progress.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient progress, therapy notes, and treatment interventions to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Engage in case collaboration with other mental health professionals, connecting clients to additional resources or services as needed to enhance their support system.
• Provide crisis intervention and management as required, demonstrating proficiency in de-escalation techniques and supportive counseling.
• Maintain a schedule that allows for flexible availability to accommodate clients in need of urgent support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on a diverse client population that includes individuals in the detox process, those facing substance dependency, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. Many clients may be navigating significant life challenges, requiring a compassionate approach that emphasizes trust, empathy, and advocacy. You will work closely with clients to help them develop coping strategies and tools necessary for long-term recovery, aiming to foster resilience and self-efficacy.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• An active and current LCSW license in Pennsylvania is mandatory for this position.
• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical social work, with a focus on mental health treatment or substance use is preferred.
• Experience in outpatient therapy settings or detox environments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will greatly benefit your success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Training or certification in motivational interviewing techniques will enhance your effectiveness in client engagement.
• Experience working with adolescents or specialized populations can provide additional value to our client base.
• Familiarity with gender-specific issues in counseling or trauma-informed care approaches will contribute to enhanced support for clients.

Compensation and Benefits
