Work Environment

This position offers a remote working arrangement, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively while being an integral part of our counseling team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each student's needs.
  • Assess clients' mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique circumstances.
  • Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate case collaboration by engaging with other stakeholders, including teachers and school counselors, to provide holistic support.
  • Stay current with best practices in mental health care to enhance patient outcomes, including participation in regular training and peer reviews.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in school environments, providing support for a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to social-emotional challenges. You will play a critical role in early intervention, equipping students with coping strategies and support systems that foster resilience and academic engagement.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • An active and current Pennsylvania license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health settings.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient mental health or school-based settings, ideally with children and teenagers.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) management and documentation practices.
  • Background in psychological assessments and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Specialized training in motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care.
