    Job description

    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, White House Liaison Division (PW). The incumbent serves as the national coordinator for the development of system-wide education initiatives and outreach activities that aim to increase civic literacy and awareness of PW. Additionally, the incumbent performs a variety of other management and program analysis duties, participates in recurring and ad hoc studies of management and administrative activities of NARA.Qualifications:

    You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

    Specialized Experience for the GS-12: You must have at least one year of experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes:

    • Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and precedents for an organization's program such as education, outreach or public program initiatives.
    • Experience identifying issues, program goals or objectives, work processes, or administrative operations for an organization.
    • Communicating verbally and in writing, effectively guiding individuals and groups toward the accomplishment of tasks.

    In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following requirements, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F):
    Time-in-Grade: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks.
    Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
