Functional Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our supportive team in Belmont, California. Work Environment

You will be working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a dynamic and collaborative workspace focused on orthopedic rehabilitation. Our clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools, exercise equipment, and state-of-the-art technology such as WebPT for documentation. Here, your clinical skills will be complemented by a strong support system, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing exceptional care to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one care, managing a caseload of 1-2 patients per hour to ensure focused and effective treatment.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that are informed by evidence-based research and best practices.
• Regularly assess patient progress and outcomes, adjusting therapy techniques to continuously meet patient needs and enhance recovery.
• Utilize WebPT for accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatment records to facilitate seamless communication with other healthcare providers.
• Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly treats patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with individuals of varying backgrounds and ages, tailoring your interventions to meet unique recovery goals. The focus is on empowering patients by guiding them through personalized rehabilitation programs that emphasize both physical therapy and wellness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current or eligible licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated proficiency in hands-on therapy techniques and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication skills necessary to motivate patients and convey complex information effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with physical therapy documentation software such as WebPT.
• Experience in developing individualized treatment plans and monitoring patient outcomes using evidence-based approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual compensation of USD 120,000 to 130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
