This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Content, and Talent, owning the development of strategic sponsorship and custom programs while serving as the primary revenue partner to podcast hosts and show teams.

As our Revenue Partnerships Lead, you will build and lead a high-performing team that transforms creator audiences into powerful, cross-platform revenue engines. You will architect innovative sponsorship packages that start with audio but extend seamlessly across every extension our creators own. Sitting at the strategic intersection of content and sales, it will be a key revenue generator in the entire organization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary commercial partner to podcast hosts, creators, and show teams, helping align content, audience insights, and sponsorship opportunities to maximize revenue growth.
• Along with Creator Partnerships and Sales, contribute to monthly revenue and business review meetings with hosts and show stakeholders, providing updates on revenue performance, pipeline activity, upcoming sponsorship opportunities, market trends, and growth initiatives.
• Develop strategic and custom packaging recommendations and monetization plans tailored to individual shows and talent portfolios.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Account Executives and Creator teams to identify new sponsorship opportunities, optimize inventory, and maximize yield across the podcast portfolio.
• Communicate marketplace feedback, advertiser demand, and audience insights to hosts and show teams to inform future partnership opportunities.
• Navigate sponsorship conflicts, category exclusivity considerations, and category restrictions while balancing advertiser objectives with host authenticity and audience trust.
• Build trusted relationships with hosts and their representatives, serving as a strategic sales advisor on revenue opportunities and partnership development.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Research, Production, and Client Services teams to ensure successful execution and long-term growth of host-led sponsorship programs.

Sales Strategy & Client Solutions

• Collaborate with Sales to lead custom proposal development, creating compelling narratives and custom sponsorship opportunities tailored to each client's objectives.
• Support inbound RFP activity by developing innovative, results-oriented solutions and process/guardrails that help achieve revenue goals.
• Participate in event panels, internal strategy sessions, select client meetings, presentations, and pitches.

Custom Sponsorship Development

• Own the development of custom sponsorship and integrated marketing programs across the podcast portfolio.
• Lead solution creation from initial strategy through proposal development and pre-sale project management.
• Assess feasibility and align stakeholders across departments to ensure programs can be executed successfully.
• Drive timelines, coordinate resources, and maintain momentum throughout the proposal process.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the primary liaison between Sales and internal partner teams, including Creator Partnerships, Marketing, Client Services, Research, Production, and external show marketing teams.
• Facilitate communication around sponsorship packaging, inventory management, exclusivity considerations, and potential conflicts across shows and partners.
• Build strong internal relationships that enable efficient collaboration and successful execution of complex partnership opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 15+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand partnerships, sales strategy, sponsorship development, or client solutions within media, entertainment, podcasting, digital publishing, or related industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience developing multi-platform marketing programs, sponsorship packages, and custom RFP ideation,
• Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to translate insights and strategy into persuasive client-facing presentations and proposals.
• Strong project management capabilities and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a polished, executive-level presence.
• Ability to influence and challenge thinking with sound rationale, data, and strategic judgment.
• A genuine passion for podcasts, creators, and the evolving media landscape.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and similar platforms to enhance ideation, productivity, and creative development.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $247,000.00-320,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
