Position Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, and logistics coordination. This role ensures efficient inventory flow, optimizes storage space, and maintains accuracy in stock levels while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the receiving process, ensuring accurate documentation, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics, working closely with suppliers, freight carriers, and warehouse staff to schedule deliveries.
  • Manage replenishment processes to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained for order fulfillment.
  • Oversee put-away operations, ensuring timely and organized storage of products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Develop and implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and improve accuracy.
  • Train, coach, and lead warehouse personnel in best practices for receiving and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all inbound operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for receiving and replenishment processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness to enhance efficiency and workplace safety.
  • Address any issues related to damaged goods, order discrepancies, or supplier non-compliance.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse receiving, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
