Position Overview

Foster Future Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a trusting and empathetic rapport with clients to facilitate a supportive therapeutic relationship.
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in individuals, couples, and families, crafting personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one therapy sessions and group therapy sessions to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to address various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress notes in accordance with organizational protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and refer clients to specialized services when required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including vulnerable populations from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Your focus will encompass individuals and groups dealing with relational difficulties, co-occurring disorders, and family dynamics. You will be instrumental in guiding clients towards healthier lifestyles through therapeutic interventions designed to create lasting change.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid LMFT license in Washington State.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated therapeutic skills and abilities essential for effective client motivation and engagement.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to facilitate treatment documentation and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Technical proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in addiction counseling and handling co-occurring disorders.
  • Hands-on experience implementing evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment.
  • Experience in community mental health settings, particularly with underserved populations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
