Our professionals play a critical role in enhancing client well-being and supporting their journey towards mental health recovery and stability.

About the Organization

The Foster Future Foundation has a strong commitment to delivering exceptional mental health care within our community. We utilize a holistic approach, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive support in the least restrictive environment possible. Our organization offers a full spectrum of therapeutic, psychopharmacological, and counseling services directed at outpatient populations, emphasizing the importance of individualized attention in the healing process.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, ideal for professionals seeking a better work-life balance. As part of a community health clinic, you will be integrated into a collaborative team atmosphere, working closely with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care. Together, we share leadership and core values focused on delivering top-tier client care and an expansive array of services, enhancing both client outcomes and clinician support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport while adhering to professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, and plan for future appointments or potential discharge when warranted.
  • Design, implement, and continuously evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation while keeping up-to-date records of client progress and therapy sessions.
  • Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions weekly, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate growth and healing.
  • Engage in individual supervision for professional development and to ensure adherence to best practices in clinical care.
  • Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize client care and address holistic health needs.
  • Cultivate a growth mindset, remaining open to feedback, ongoing learning, and the integration of new methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a varied patient population, including children, adults, and families, each facing distinct mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in providing individualized therapy that respects each client’s background, culture, and personal experiences. By maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance, you will enhance their trust and engagement in the treatment process, ultimately fostering a path towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse client needs.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Excel, RMS for record management, and scheduling platforms like Outlook and PIMSY.
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, including conducting intake assessments.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional clinical experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, or family therapy.
  • Familiarity with modern telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery methods.
  • Prior involvement in multidisciplinary collaborations within a healthcare setting.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Participation in a Fee-for-Service model with guaranteed rates—payments are made ahead of collections, eliminating waiting periods for reimbursement.
  • Opportunities for bonuses based on performance metrics and client outcomes.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as supplemental options.
  • 401k retirement plan, complete with company contributions.
  • Provided malpractice insurance to ensure peace of mind for clinicians.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and professional support.
  • Professional development opportunities, including free continuing education units (CEUs) on various mental health topics.
Career Growth Opportunities

As a LPC with Foster Future Foundation, you will have ample opportunities for both professional and personal growth. Through in-house cross-training sessions and participation in continuous education programs, you will enhance your skills and knowledge. We encourage our counselors to pursue specialized areas of interest, which can lead to advanced roles within our organization.
