Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments for clients to identify their social, emotional, and psychological needs, tailoring interventions to individual circumstances.
  • Deliver personalized counseling sessions to individuals and families facing a multitude of challenges, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering communal support and shared learning among clients experiencing similar life challenges.
  • Develop, implement, and continually evaluate service plans aligned with clients' goals, ensuring measurable outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Actively advocate for clients' rights, connect them to essential resources, and address relevant social justice issues affecting their communities.
  • Contribute to ongoing program development by evaluating service delivery and preparing grant reports to secure funding.
  • Collaborate with local community organizations and government agencies to enhance service delivery, leveraging resources effectively to meet client needs.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and contribute to the efficacy of our programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily consists of individuals and families from various backgrounds residing in Hartford. Many clients face socioeconomic challenges, including issues related to trauma, mental health disorders, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Your role as an LCSW will involve providing support that addresses the unique needs of these populations, guiding them toward resilience and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • A current, active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
