Family Unity Counseling is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Family Unity Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients, working collaboratively with both couples and families.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions that address a range of issues, including but not limited to alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflict resolution among family members, and adjustment to family changes such as divorce or remarriage.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to ameliorate mental health challenges and enhance communication within families.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress while utilizing state-of-the-art healthcare technology platforms to support efficient care delivery.
  • Providing support in therapeutic group settings that encourage discussion and resolution of common issues faced by families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include individuals, couples, and families experiencing diverse challenges, each requiring a nuanced understanding and tailored therapeutic approach. You will engage with clients managing emotional distress, communication barriers, and life transitions, ensuring they receive holistic, family-centered care. The diversity of our client population reflects the rich tapestry of Miami's community, allowing you to impact various demographic groups and backgrounds.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A strong commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.
Preferred Experience

While newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, those with experience in family therapy, conflict resolution, and areas including trauma-informed care, will be highly valued. We appreciate candidates familiar with the complexities of family dynamics and who can bring innovative solutions to the therapy process. Flexibility in scheduling, with a commitment of 30 hours or more per week, is essential to meet the needs of our client population.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
