Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' emotional and behavioral health using accepted social work practices.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, educators, and families to address identified needs.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help students manage their emotional challenges.
• Work in conjunction with teachers and school staff to implement strategies that promote a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, in compliance with organizational policies.
• Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and developing safety plans for at-risk students.
• Engage with families and community resources to ensure holistic support for students in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing various issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and social challenges impacting their academic success and emotional well-being. You will develop meaningful relationships with students, helping them thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably within schools or with youth populations.
• Strong proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation systems, along with solid computer skills including MS Office applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple cases.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse groups, including students, families, and educational staff.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in school-based mental health, knowledge of educational systems, and demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment interventions for children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
