Job Description

This position is hybrid and will be required to be in office two times per month for collaboration working sessions.

Job Summary

Responsible for setting the strategic direction and vision for the organization's IT private and public cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing and implementing complex, large-scale infrastructure solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Will provide expert-level guidance, leads high-impact projects, and influences technology strategy across the organization.

Job Duties

  • Design and oversee the implementation of sophisticated infrastructure architectures, including cloud platforms, data centers, networks, storage, and AI solutions. Innovate and integrate advanced technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities and efficiency
  • Lead and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and integrations. Ensure projects are executed effectively, meeting strategic goals and technical requirements with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with senior IT leaders, business executives, and external partners to influence technology strategy and drive organizational change. Advocate for best practices and innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure performance and support business initiatives.
  • Conduct advanced performance assessments and optimizations across the infrastructure landscape. Address complex issues related to scalability, capacity, and efficiency, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security frameworks and compliance strategies for infrastructure systems. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, and lead efforts to address security vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and best practices. Prepare and present strategic reports to senior management, highlighting project progress, performance metrics, and future plans.
  • Mentor and support other architects and technical staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing. Lead training initiatives and contribute to the development of the team's technical capabilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or educational experience in related field preferred, or relevant work experience.
  • 4+ year of relevant demonstrated ability to influence and lead others in the execution of tasks, projects, processes or programs
  • 10-12 years of experience with enterprise-level infrastructure systems, including cloud platforms, data centers, networks, AI and storage solutions.
  • Experience with the latest AI technologies backed by a modern vision for AI governance and security.
  • Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cutting-edge technologies and advanced automation tools, as well as a demonstrated ability to drive strategic innovation.
  • Deep expertise in designing and managing complex, large-scale infrastructure systems and solutions.
  • Proficiency in advanced automation, orchestration, cloud technologies, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of security practices, compliance, and risk management.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of driving infrastructure innovation and aligning solutions with business goals.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, mentor teams, and present technical information effectively.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work across departments and manage relationships with external partners.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including

skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The pay range for this role is $135,400.00 - $196,300.00 annually.
