This full-time position is an opportunity to engage with a diverse patient population, promote emotional well-being, and guide individuals towards achieving personal growth. With a focus on delivering high-quality therapeutic services, you will play a vital role in the mental health community, helping clients navigate their challenges.

About the Organization

Excela Behavioral Health is a community-oriented health clinic committed to offering exceptional mental health services to underserved populations. Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, we strive to bridge the gap in mental healthcare access and provide empathetic, client-focused treatment to improve lives. Our experienced team of counselors and psychologists work collaboratively to ensure our clients receive the support they need to thrive.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible remote work environment, enabling you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. As a member of our team, you will work within a supportive network of professionals who prioritize collaboration and comprehensive care. Our virtual platforms facilitate consistent communication, ensuring that you remain connected with colleagues and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand the unique needs of each client, developing personalized therapy plans that cater to their specific circumstances.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, adapting techniques to fit each client's needs.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group therapy focused on topics relevant to collective mental health challenges, fostering an inclusive environment where clients feel safe to share and grow.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and case managers, to ensure holistic care and develop integrated treatment plans that encompass all facets of a client's well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and treatment protocols, using our specialized electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Excela Behavioral Health, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health services. Our clients often face a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance dependence. With a compassionate approach, you will empower them to confront these challenges, using your expertise to guide them towards healthier coping strategies and improved emotional resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado is essential for this role.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience is necessary, ideally within a clinical setting where you have demonstrated your ability to address a variety of mental health issues.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling will be highly valued, enhancing your ability to connect with our client population.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload. Additionally, you will benefit from:

  • A steady flow of client referrals, allowing you to focus on delivering quality care.
  • Assistance with billing and documentation, significantly reducing your administrative workload so that you can dedicate more time to client interactions.
  • Robust support from our clinical team to enhance your professional growth and collaboration opportunities.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Excela Behavioral Health opens the door to numerous professional development opportunities. As part of our commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, we encourage our LPCs to pursue ongoing education, workshops, and certifications that align with their career goals. You will also have opportunities to take on leadership roles within our organization, guiding initiatives and mentoring newer counselors.
