Key Responsibilities

• Develop personalized therapy plans by conducting thorough client assessments, including mental health evaluations and the creation of tailored interventions.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Integrate feedback from multidisciplinary collaboration to continuously enhance client treatment plans and outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized client documentation, leveraging our supportive billing and administrative systems to ease your administrative burden.
• Engage with clients to monitor treatment progress and efficacy, adjusting interventions as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Excela Behavioral Health, you will serve a wide range of clients, including those facing mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance misuse. Our clientele often consists of individuals and families from underserved communities, who may be facing significant obstacles to accessing mental health services. Your role will be vital in helping restore their emotional well-being and supporting their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. Candidates must possess a strong theoretical foundation in mental health practices.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado is essential to practice.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience is required, ideally in a clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and availability of a caseload.
