Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Payroll Services Supervisor/Payroll Services Manager, you will work as part of a team responsible for supporting the administration of payroll for our clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Assist with data entry of employee files 
  • Assists with data entry of timesheets for various client accounts 
  • Assists with Premium payroll data entry timesheets for various client accounts 
  • Runs, assembles and packages payroll reports 
  • Responsible for filing (or scanning) all necessary payroll and remittance documents 
  • Responsible for generating and posting ROEs 
  • Provides support to members of the Payroll Services team as required. 
  • Administer the collection of remittance documentation for the facilitation of weekly remittances to Union(s) and various government agencies 
  • Responsible for online reporting to third party accounts, and other agency/government where required. 
  • Assist with handling general employee and government agency enquiries 
  • Assists with the Manual Tax process 
  • Attends and participates in department meetings. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Payroll Services Supervisor/Payroll Services Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 1-year experience in a clerical / data entry environment 
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment 
  • Ability to work within a team environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Compensation

This position offers an expected compensation of $50,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. This range reflects the anticipated salary for the successful candidate and complies with Ontario's pay transparency requirements.
