What You'll Do
As a Field Service Engineer II, you'll provide hands-on technical support to healthcare facilities. This includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of specialized medical equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, and repair on, medical diagnostic equipment, and kiosk systems.
  • Conducting performance verification and equipment testing to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Documenting service activities and managing work orders using EMSAR's ServiceMax system
  • Communicating with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate service calls
  • Representing EMSAR professionally while working at customer facilities

Expect 25% of the role to include documentation and service reporting, with the majority focused on hands-on technical work in the field.
This position could involve regional day trips and occasional overnight stays. All travel is company paid.

Education & Experience
Option 1
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of technical or field service experience

OR
Option 2
  • Associate degree or trade/technical school certification
  • 1+ year of technical experience (including internship or apprenticeship)

Additional requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance
  • Ability to operate personal, fleet, or rental vehicles

Physical & Work Environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment handling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment up to 125 lbs
  • Regular use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Time spent both on-site at customer facilities and documenting service work electronically
