Empath Health is seeking a Vice President of Marketing & Communications to serve as our strategic growth leader, responsible for positioning marketing as a revenue-driving engine that strengthens market presence and advances the Full Life Care mission. This role oversees integrated marketing, communications, digital, and brand strategy across multiple service lines and markets, ensuring alignment with system growth goals and operational performance. The Vice President partners closely with executive leadership, P&L owners, Business Development, and Philanthropy to drive referral growth, expand market share, and elevate the "One Empath" brand. This leader inspires a high-performing team while championing innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What you'll Do
  • Lead Empath Health's systemwide marketing, communications, digital, and brand strategy to drive revenue growth, referral volume, and market expansion.
  • Partner with P&L leaders, Business Development, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with census growth, service line priorities, and operational performance.
  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns, digital engagement, and brand management to strengthen visibility across all Empath service lines and markets.
  • Direct internal and external communications, including media relations, crisis response, executive messaging, and colleague engagement.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of 12+ marketing, communications, digital, and creative professionals.
  • Use data, analytics, and market insights to optimize marketing investments and demonstrate ROI tied to growth objectives.
