Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and social needs to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique situations of clients to promote positive outcomes and foster recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adjustments to care plans in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychologists, medical staff, and support personnel, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Stay informed of the latest research and developments within the social work field to enhance therapeutic practices and cultural competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients who are facing a variety of mental health challenges, including substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Our client-focused approach emphasizes understanding the trauma and emotions surrounding their experiences, ensuring a holistic methodology to treatment that fosters lifelong recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in the state of Illinois.
• Proven ability to provide effective individual and group counseling.
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and empathize with clients.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or rehabilitation center.
• Background in trauma-informed care practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits

Embrace Shift Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
