Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Embrace Shift Wellness, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individualized and couple therapy sessions focusing on a wide variety of issues impacting relationships and family dynamics.
  • Engaging in assessments and developing personalized treatment plans based on the unique needs of clients and families.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address concerns such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, familial conflicts, communication barriers, and adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
  • Providing education and support to clients regarding mental health practices and coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients, leveraging the diverse expertise within our organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LMFT will focus on supporting diverse patient populations, including couples, families, and individuals. You will be adept at accommodating a range of issues from job stress to developmental challenges faced by children and adolescents, ensuring you meet clients where they are and facilitate paths toward healing and growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Expertise in therapeutic methods that promote emotional support and resilience among clients.
  • A deep commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
