We are seeking an experienced professional to support the quality assurance and validation of front-office trading and financial applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to validate the functionality, performance, and stability of trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), and market data applications. The role requires close collaboration with front-office business users, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure applications meet business requirements, regulatory obligations, and production quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Automation Development
    • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for front-office trading applications.
    • Build reusable automation components to improve test efficiency and coverage.
    • Support continuous testing initiatives within Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Functional, Regression & Integration Testing
    • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
    • Validate trade lifecycle workflows, order processing, execution management, and market data integrations.
    • Ensure application stability, performance, and accuracy across releases.
  • Defect Management & Quality Assurance
    • Analyze test results and identify application defects, performance issues, and process gaps.
    • Collaborate with development teams to investigate, prioritize, and resolve defects.
    • Participate in root-cause analysis and remediation activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on test automation experience within financial services, capital markets, or trading environments.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience testing front-office applications, including trading platforms, OMS, EMS, or market data systems.
  • Technical Skills
    • 5 years of strong experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar enterprise automation tools.
    • Minimum 3 years of programming/scripting experience in one or more of Python, Java, or JavaScript.
    • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
    • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Xray.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
    • Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
