Role Overview
Seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern testing practices. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.
The selected candidate should have the ability to start within a short notice period.

• Ensure candidate commitment and availability throughout the process.
• Provide 2 weeks of interview availability along with 2- 3 interview time slots for each candidate (US time zone).
• Ensure candidate availability for quick interview scheduling.
• Ensure candidates are well-briefed about the role and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright
• Build and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworks
• Execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across UI (frontend) and API/backend systems
• Perform API testing using Postman/REST services
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes
• Generate and maintain test reports using tools like Allure and Playwright reports
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Scrum-based delivery
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Test Leads
• Support functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT

• 5–7 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation tool
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and project management
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience in API testing (Postman/REST)
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration and version control tools
