We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor, holding an LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC certification, to join our dynamic outpatient team at Eleanor Health. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide remote behavioral health services to individuals battling challenges associated with substance use disorders. By prioritizing evidence-based interventions and patient-centered care, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients on their path to recovery and improved mental health.

About the Organization

Eleanor Health is a forward-thinking organization committed to transforming the landscape of behavioral health, especially in the realm of opioid use disorder. Our mission is to deliver accessible, innovative, and clinically excellent care that meets the diverse needs of our patient population. We integrate a holistic approach to treatment, emphasizing collaboration and community engagement to foster long-lasting recovery outcomes.

Work Environment

This position enables you to work remotely, offering the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while delivering impactful care. Despite the remote setting, you will be part of a close-knit, collaborative team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Our virtual tools and communication systems are designed to facilitate teamwork, reduce barriers, and improve accessibility for both providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments for all new patients to establish a baseline understanding of their mental and emotional health.
  • Develop and manage personalized treatment plans that address the psychiatric, psychosocial, and behavioral health needs of patients, guiding them through their recovery journey.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that employ evidence-based techniques to promote healing and self-discovery.
  • Coordinate care with external treatment facilities and specialists when necessary, ensuring comprehensive support for patient needs.
  • Engage in proactive monitoring of patient progress, identifying areas for improvement, and adapting treatment strategies as necessary to enhance outcomes.
  • Document all interactions and progress accurately within our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient cases, share best practices, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing substance use disorders, a demographic often facing complex and intertwined mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from varied backgrounds, providing tailored therapeutic approaches that respect their unique experiences and needs. Eleanor Health is dedicated to inclusivity, ensuring that all patients receive holistic care that contributes to their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is a fundamental requirement for this position.
  • A valid and active LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC license in Washington State is essential for direct patient care.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment is required; experience specifically within substance use treatment is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for behavioral health conditions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including strong active listening capabilities to foster trusting therapist-client relationships.
  • A commitment to our mission of delivering transformative, evidence-based care for those affected by substance use disorders.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing group therapy programs designed for individuals in recovery.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems to ensure efficient documentation and patient tracking.
  • Prior work experience in outpatient settings, particularly in a remote capacity.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) with matching contributions to help you save for your future.
  • Dental and vision insurance to support your overall health and well-being.
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.
  • Health insurance coverage to ensure you have access to necessary medical services.
  • Generous paid time off policies to promote rest and rejuvenation.
  • Professional development assistance, including opportunities for further education and training.
  • A referral program that rewards you for bringing talented professionals to our organization.

At Eleanor Health, we believe in fostering personal and professional development. As a member of our team, you will have access to ongoing training programs and mentorship opportunities, enabling you to enhance your skills and advance in your career. Participation in professional networks and access to conferences can also expand your horizons within the field of mental health counseling.
