Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for all new and existing patients to establish individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage and monitor the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of patients, adapting treatment protocols to align with their evolving health journeys.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, creating a safe space for patients to share their experiences and progress.
  • Coordinate care with external behavioral health facilities, ensuring a seamless continuum of support for patients requiring more specialized interventions.
  • Regularly evaluate patient progress and tailor treatment approaches proactively, seeking innovative strategies to enhance overall patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals dealing with substance use disorders, which may coexist with other mental health issues. Counselors will work with a diverse clientele, each facing unique challenges and experiences. Our approach emphasizes cultural competence and understanding, ensuring that we meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
  • A fully active LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC license in the state of Washington is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical or collaborative team environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for behavioral health conditions, including trauma-informed care principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and strong active listening abilities to foster trust and rapport with patients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with patients in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
  • Background in substance use disorder treatment and familiarity with local resources in the Bothell, Washington area.
Compensation and Benefits
