Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our passionate team at Eleanor Health. This full-time, remote position allows you to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals facing the challenges of substance use disorder. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be integral in collaborating with our care team to help patients navigate their recovery journeys and achieve their personal goals.

About the Organization

Eleanor Health is a pioneering organization committed to transforming how accessible, evidence-based clinical care is delivered within the opioid use disorder landscape. We prioritize compassion, support, and sustainability in our treatment approaches, and we strive to create a significant impact in the communities we serve. By leveraging telehealth, we offer flexibility and convenience to our patients while fostering a collaborative work environment for our team members.

Work Environment

This role is entirely telehealth-based, providing you with the opportunity to work from your home while delivering essential mental health services. Our remote model requires a proactive approach to communication and teamwork, relying on secure technology platforms to ensure seamless interaction with patients and fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for all new patients to determine individual needs and establish treatment plans.
  • Manage and monitor the treatment of patients addressing their psychiatric, psychosocial, and physical health-related concerns throughout their recovery journeys.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Coordinate care with external behavioral health facilities and resources, ensuring a holistic approach to patient treatment.
  • Proactively identify and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes and overall treatment effectiveness.
  • Document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately in electronic health records.
  • Remain engaged in ongoing professional development and training to keep abreast of the latest in behavioral health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with individuals facing substance use disorders who may also be navigating co-occurring mental health issues. Your approach will be rooted in empathy and understanding, with a focus on empowering patients to take charge of their recovery process. Our diverse clientele will require adaptability and cultural competency in order to effectively address the unique challenges they may face.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
  • An active and fully licensed clinical professional (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC) in Washington state is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting, preferably within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and patient engagement.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for behavioral health conditions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth service delivery.
  • Knowledge or training in trauma-informed care principles.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and data management is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year. In addition to competitive compensation, Eleanor Health provides a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
  • Full healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible work schedule to promote work-life balance.

  • Opportunities for professional development support and continuing education.
  • Referral program that rewards you for introducing talented professionals to our team.
