Job description
DPP is seeking an Internal Technical Training Specialist II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work location: Onsite in Merritt Island, FL
Duration: 5 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen

Work location: Onsite in Merritt Island, FL
Duration: 5 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen
Responsibilities:
- Design, schedule, deliver and track technical training.
- Establish training and education modules and ensure consistency in the delivery of technical training and onboarding.
- Provide train-the-trainer program and qualify all area trainers for content delivery.
- Partner with the functional area, develop training materials, and knowledge assessments, for area standard operation procedures (SOP's) and coordinate knowledge assessment.
- Utilize training authoring and multimedia tools and software for assigned development projects.
- Keep abreast of training and development research, learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in basic navigation of Learning Management Systems (LMS); SABA/Cornerstone preferred
- Basic navigation to include roster input, role assignment, course completion, course description updates, course material attachments, basic reporting.
- Class and learning lab prep and maintenance (copies, binders, job aids, materials, tools).
- Run reports from TCRS & SATERN to update company LMS.
- Schedule participants for delivered courses (EOR, SACBA, SCAPE).
- Input rosters and OJT training completion in LMS
- Submit rosters to training center
- Assist with limited LMS migration prep to new LMS
- Maintain KSC Training mailbox
- Update OJT documents (with input provided by others)
- Administrative Training experience
- Basic Instructional Design skills (not course development, but rather, course maintenance and testing or updates using existing courses and templates)
- Experience working with Lectora 21 software
- Basic understanding of ADA compliance in web-based training, specifically, in Lectora 21
