As the SVP, Head of Product - Dow Jones Industries, you will be the visionary architect responsible for delivering greater value to customers through tailored experiences and delivery of intelligence to professionals across different markets. You will lead the charge in evolving our world-class data, analytics, and news platforms into indispensable tools for professionals based on their changing needs. Your impact will be felt across the Dow Jones organization, where we combine trusted news, data and intelligence to help leaders see clearly, act quickly and move confidently. You will report directly to the General Manager of Industries and the Chief Technology Officer.

About the Team:

Dow Jones' Enterprise News brings together unrivaled expertise in covering financial markets to provide real-time developments, news, and company and market information that power professional trading and investing decisions. The Wall Street Journal, combined with other Dow Jones news and commentary, provides insights and perspectives that businesses rely on for investment decisions. Dow Jones Factiva features company and market intelligence from tens of thousands of trusted sources globally. That, combined with real-time developments and data from Dow Jones Newswires, powers insights for hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions.

You Will:
  • Define and execute a multi-year product strategy across Dow Jones Industry verticals

  • Lead the product team and cultivate a customer-focused culture, ensuring that customers and prospects are engaged at every stage to inform product's priorities and deliverables

  • Collaborate and work in a "lockstep" partnership with the Technology organization

  • Lead product teams to continually enhance products to meet customers' changing needs, workflows, and use of AI and other technologies

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure our value proposition is crystal clear

  • Mentor and grow a high-performing team of Product leaders and managers

You Have:
  • At least 15 years' product management experience within the financial services and/or media/information space, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role

  • Have managed P&Ls and delivered ROI on complex, multi-million dollar product builds

  • A "Product-Led Growth" mindset

  • Proven experience navigating large-scale digital transformations or platform migrations

  • Experience leading teams in transforming content into data; and data into meaningful sentiment

  • Understanding of how data architecture, AI/ML, and API-first delivery models impact the user experience

  • Taken complex market data and turned it into a compelling product narrative that excites both internal stakeholders and Tier-1 global clients

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
